Let’s visit the MOMAT Collection at the National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo!
This is one of Japan's largest collection exhibitions, featuring approximately 200 works selected from over 14,000 pieces. Across 12 themed rooms, you can trace the flow of Japanese modern and contemporary art from the late 19th century to the present day.
### ✨ Seasonal Highlights
Yoshitomo Nara’s "Harmless Kitty" (1994): Back at MOMAT for the first time in 2 years after a long international tour!
Eikoh Hosoe "Ordeal by Roses": A tribute to the legendary photographer Eikoh Hosoe (who passed away in 2024) and a celebration of the 100th anniversary of the subject’s birth, novelist Yukio Mishima (2025).
New Acquisitions: Keep an eye out for the "New Acquisition" labels to see the latest additions to the museum’s prestigious collection.
